Natural Beautiful Very Rare Golden Hills Turquoise Pendant set in Sterling Silver.
Navajo made hallmarked on the back. The size is 1-3/8" including bail.
Unique indeed with its Periwinkle blue and burnt umber matrix. It is one of the prettiest turquoises being mined and in high demand. It is known for its lavender undertones. A new favorite in the Southwest and by the Navajo silversmiths.
In the hills of Kazakhstan sits the Golden Hills mine, where this turquoise is only mined in the winter month's during the freezing cold & snow.They cannot mine it it the summer due to the area flooding due to the conditions there.
Turquoise: Valued sacred by Native Americans, turquoise has long been considered a master healer said to assist the absorption of nutrients while strengthening the immune system and stimulating tissue regeneration.
